2003–2010 — Basic Research
Exploration of material properties, mechanisms, characterization, and the fundamentals of drug-delivery systems. This stage established a culture of scientific rigor and mentorship for young researchers.
2010–2019 — Translational Research
Research advanced toward solving formulation challenges, improving solubility and stability, applying nanotechnology, and developing candidate active ingredients and dosage forms.
2019–2024 — Downstreaming
Research results began to be translated into prototypes, patents, brands, products, industrial collaborations, MSME assistance, and integrated supply chains.
2024–Present — Commercialization and Impact Expansion
The focus has shifted toward standardization, scale-up, regulatory pathways, benefit evaluation, manufacturing capacity, market access, investment, research-based CSR, agroforestry, and network expansion.
Looking Ahead
